A Dedicated (or bare-metal) server is a physical server dedicated to a customer, i.e. the resources are not shared. The customer can therefore take full advantage of the server's performance.
Delivery is not yet fully automated, so lead times may vary depending on the configuration ordered. Please contact us before ordering to check the availability of the model you want. Once the server has been delivered, installing the operating system takes about ten minutes.
A Dedicated server is designed to meet the more specific needs of a customer that a VPS could not meet, this may be a game server very performance demanding, a game server with many people, a website, IA, etc...
Our dedicated servers are currently hosted in a datacenter located in Aubervilliers, in the Paris area of France. Your data therefore stays in France, with a French host: AdKyNet SAS is a company registered in France. We plan to expand later to other sites in France and internationally.
That is your choice. Like all our services, our dedicated servers are offered either without commitment or with a commitment period of 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. The period selected, the payment frequency and the total amount due are shown to you before you confirm the order. The price you subscribe to is then fixed for the whole commitment period: a price change can only apply from renewal onwards, and you are informed of it beforehand.
On an offer without commitment, or once the commitment period has ended, you can cancel at any time from your client area and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. That feature is permanently available there and is as simple to use as subscribing. To leave before the end of a commitment period, the financial terms are set out in article 5.6 of our terms and conditions.
Apart from exercising the right of withdrawal and apart from the cases provided for in articles 5.6 and 6 of our terms and conditions, no refund is due for a service that has been subscribed to and made available. Any request must be sent to support with a valid reason; if a refund is granted, it is made to the payment method used when ordering.
