What is web hosting?
Web hosting is the space where your site's files and its database live, on a machine that stays powered on and connected to the Internet. That is the whole difference between a site that exists on your computer and a site anyone can reach at any hour.
In practice, you upload your files — directly, or by installing a CMS in one click — you point your domain name at them, and the server answers visitors on your behalf. The rest, meaning the system, PHP, the web server, the database and the backups, is administered by us.

A brochure site fits in a few hundred megabytes; a shop with its photo catalogue needs a good deal more. Disk space is often the first limit you reach, well before processing power.
One database per site
WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla and Drupal each need one. The quota therefore follows the site count: one on the Free plan, two on Small, ten on Perso, no limit on Pro.
Email addresses on your domain
One 1 GB address from the Free plan, five 10 GB addresses on Small, then 15 GB and 50 GB mailboxes on Perso and Pro. Enough to write from your own domain rather than from a generic address.
Plesk panel
Domains, databases, mailboxes, FTP access, certificates, PHP version: all the management happens in a web interface, with no command line involved.
PHP version at choice
The PHP version is set per site. A recent project and an older application can therefore live on the same hosting, without compromising either one.

Perso, at €3.99 with 75 GB, ten sites and a free domain name, matches a small business or several projects running in parallel. Pro, at €9.99 with 200 GB and unlimited sites and databases, is aimed at large catalogues.

What is web hosting?

Is the free plan really free?
Yes, it costs €0 per month. It comes with 1 GB of disk space, one database, one site, one 1 GB email address, the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate and the Plesk panel. It is a real place on our infrastructure, sized for a first site or a test project.
Can I install WordPress, PrestaShop or Joomla?
Yes. These solutions install in one click from the panel, and you can also upload your own files over FTP. WordPress, Drupal, PrestaShop and Joomla all need PHP and a database: both are provided from the free plan onwards.
How does the free domain name work?
The Perso and Pro plans include a free domain name. To get it in .xyz, .fr, .com or .eu for the first year, the plan has to be paid yearly. The Free and Small plans do not come with a domain.
How many email addresses are included?
The Free plan comes with one 1 GB address and the Small plan with five 10 GB addresses. The Perso and Pro plans offer 15 GB and 50 GB mailboxes. FTP accounts, for their part, are unlimited on all four plans.
What is the Plesk panel?
Plesk is the web interface from which you manage your hosting: adding domains, creating databases and mailboxes, FTP access, SSL certificates, choosing the PHP version and installing the main CMS in one click. It is included in all four plans.
How is it different from a web reseller plan?
Web hosting is meant for your own sites. A reseller plan adds the management of separate customer accounts, with their own credentials and their own quotas, so you can host third parties under your brand.
