What is a dedicated Palworld server?

Palworld can be played together without renting anything: one player opens their session and the others join. The problem shows up the moment that player disconnects — the world stops with them, and nobody else can make progress. A dedicated server solves exactly that: the world runs on a separate machine, around the clock, and everyone joins whenever they like.

It also makes the game bearable for the host. Running Palworld and its server on the same computer means asking the same machine to do the job twice; separating the two turns the player who invites their friends back into an ordinary player.

What your Palworld hosting includes

Ryzen 9 9950X

A Palworld server continuously simulates an open world, its creatures and the bases built by the players. That load calls for per-core frequency as much as for core count, hence the choice of a recent high-end processor.

From 8 to 32 GB of RAM

Memory is the resource Palworld leans on hardest. It grows with the number of connected players, but above all with the age of the world: the more bases you build and Pals you capture, the more the server holds in memory.

A world reachable at all times

The server depends on no particular player. Your friends can play without you, on their own schedule, and you find the world up to date the next time you connect.

Anti-DDoS protection

A game server exposes a public IP address around the clock. Protection is included on all four plans, with no option to enable and no surcharge.

2 backups

Palworld moves fast, and an update can occasionally unsettle a world in progress. Backups let you return to a known state rather than rebuild dozens of hours of progress.

Up to 40 Gbits connection

An open world sends a great deal of information to every player: positions, creatures, structures. A wide connection keeps that stream from becoming the limiting factor as the group grows.

What a dedicated server changes day to day

No indispensable player

Nobody has to be online for the others to play. The server is not waiting for a host: it is already there.

Your own rules

Speed of time, experience gains, capture rates, gathering amounts, number of Pals per base: the server's configuration file lets you calibrate the difficulty for your group.

Room to build

Bases and the Pals they house are what weighs most over time. A plan properly sized in RAM means a world that stays smooth after a hundred hours, not only on the first evening.

A community, not a session

With a fixed address and a permanent world, your server can welcome far more than the circle of friends you started with, and keep a shared progression running for months.

Which Palworld plan should you pick?

The right criterion is the number of players connected at the same time, adjusted for how ambitious the world is. PalBRONZE, at €5 per month with 2 vCore and 8 GB of RAM, suits a session among four friends. PalSILVER at €7.5 doubles both RAM and CPU for around eight players. PalGOLD at €14 aims at sixteen, and PalDIAMOND, at €17.5 with 8 vCore and 32 GB, is for open servers of thirty or so players.

Frequently asked questions

What is a dedicated Palworld server?

It is a machine that runs the Palworld world around the clock, independently of the players. Your friends connect whenever they want, each with their own character, and the world keeps existing between two sessions.

Why not simply host the session from inside the game?

Because a session hosted from inside the game depends entirely on its host: once that player disconnects, nobody else can play. A dedicated server removes that dependency, keeps the world running while you sleep, and no longer forces one player to run both the game and the server on the same machine.

How much RAM does a Palworld server need?

Palworld is a memory-hungry game, and that appetite grows with the number of connected players, but also with the number of bases, structures and Pals living in the world. Our plans range from 8 GB for a session among friends to 32 GB for an open server with a lasting population.

How many players can my server host?

Our plans are sized for 4, 8, 16 and 32 concurrent players depending on the package. That figure depends above all on RAM and processor: an older world, with many bases and a lot of Pals, consumes more at an equal number of players.

Do my friends need to own Palworld to join the server?

Yes. Every player must own the game on their own account to connect to a server, including yours. The hosting provides the server, not the game licences.

Can I change the rules of my Palworld world?

Yes. The dedicated server reads its settings from a configuration file that lets you adjust the speed of time, experience gains, capture rates, gathering amounts or the number of Pals allowed per base. You can therefore tune the difficulty to suit your group.

Are my bases and my Pals backed up?

The world is saved on the server, and every plan includes 2 backups. They let you return to an earlier state after a game update or a mistake, instead of manually rebuilding what was lost.

How much does Palworld hosting cost at AdKyNet?
